Base Game Modifier base
Base Lane Selection

Idle state: player picks one of four displayed multiplier lanes (base tier 1.1x/CHANCE 87%, 1.2x/80%, 1.5x/64%, 2.2x/44%) and presses that lane's BET button. The stake is deducted from balance exactly once for the whole run, on this first pick only.

Bonus Mode climb
Free Continuation Climb

After a successful pick, a 'NEXT STEPS ARE FREE' banner appears: all four lanes re-roll to a harder tier with higher multipliers and higher success percentages (observed post-first-success tier: 1.2x/92%, 1.3x/85%, 1.6x/69%, 2.3x/48%), and further lane picks cost no additional stake. Player may press CASH OUT (stake x achieved multiplier) at any point, or keep picking lanes to climb further. A failed pick resets progress to the base tier and forfeits the single stake charged at the start of the run.

Other auto_ceiling
5000x Auto Cash-Out Ceiling

The maximum possible multiplier is 5000x, printed at the top of the vertical ladder gauge. If a run's climb reaches this ceiling, the winnings are automatically credited and the run ends without requiring a manual cash-out.

Color Blind
  • Each lane's chance gauge is a red-to-yellow-to-green gradient bar with a pointer, but the exact 'CHANCE: N%' value is always printed in text underneath, so the gauge color never has to be read to know the odds.
  • The bottom-left run-history strip marks a lost pick with a dark maroon/brownish-red filled pill and an older cashed win with a green filled pill; the win/loss distinction is partly carried by shape too (a plain grey text badge with no background marks an earlier successful-but-uncashed pick), but the green-vs-maroon pair relies on hue/lightness contrast between two filled pills, which may be harder to tell apart for some color-vision deficiencies.

Data provenance

what we captured and what we didn't
Idle base state, a successful first pick (free-continuation tier with 'NEXT STEPS ARE FREE'), a failed pick (progress reset to base tier), cash-out announcement and the immediately-following credited win screen, the settings panel, and rules pages 1-4 (mechanics text plus the RTP/bet-limits/max-win table) were all captured.
Only one post-success tier was observed (the tier following a 1.1x/87% success). The multiplier/odds progression for every other possible chain of lane picks (starting from lanes 2/3/4, or for the 2nd/3rd+ successive tier of a longer run) was not exhausted and is not documented.
Reaching the printed 5000x auto-credit ceiling was not observed on camera (a very-low-probability chain of successes); the auto-credit behavior is documented from the rules text only, not from a live frame.
The history panel behind the clock icon reported 'Not available' when opened during capture and has no corresponding screenshot in the delivered set.
The exact function of the dimmed lightning-badge icon on the settings panel's right-edge rail was not verified by click-testing; it visually differs from the plain settings gear and may be a distinct (possibly disabled) control rather than a duplicate of Settings.

What it looks like

How does Zeus X Machina play? Keep it simple.

    "provider": "PoggiPlay",
    "game_kind": "crash",
    "game_kind_note": "Not a reel slot: there are no reels, no paylines, no symbol paytable and no spinning grid anywhere in the capture set. The device is a binary risk-ladder: the player picks one of four displayed multipliers, the pick either succeeds (overall progress climbs and a cash-out becomes available) or fails (progress resets), and the round auto-settles if the player rides the ladder all the way to the printed 5000x ceiling. This matches the catalogue's 'crash' device (choose risk -> cash out any time -> auto cash-out at a hard ceiling), so 'reels/paylines/symbol payout table' are intentionally absent from this document rather than omitted by oversight.",
    "art_style": "Flat-shaded 2D mobile-casino illustration with painterly cel shading (not photoreal, not vector-flat): a muscular, airbrushed Greek-myth Zeus rendered with soft gradient lighting, thick gold metallic linework on jewelry/laurel wreaths, and glowing yellow crack-lines on the boulder and UI chrome. Dusky, stormy mountainside background (deep purple rock, warm amber sky near the horizon, dark violet clouds above) — an evening/storm-lit mood, not bright daylight. UI panels are flat dark-purple rounded rectangles with gold-bordered buttons; no neon, no photoreal 3D render, no pixel art. Camera is a static side-on view of the mountainside (no isometric or top-down perspective). Overall tone: dramatic mythological adventure rather than cute/cartoonish.",
    "theme": "Greek mythology - Zeus (or, per the promo tagline, a mortal/hero surrogate) endlessly pushing a giant lightning-cracked boulder up a mountain toward the summit of Olympus (a clear nod to the myth of Sisyphus, reframed as a risk-reward climb), in a purple-and-gold storm-lit color palette.",
    "wordmark_note": "The in-game wordmark rendered on the boulder-pushing scene and win screens reads 'ZEUS X MACHINA' on two lines/joined as 'ZEUS X MACHINA' (an 'X' between the two words, styled like a multiplication/lightning cross). It matches the catalogue name exactly, so there is no discrepancy between catalogue name and in-game wordmark (unlike the Plinko 1000 precedent in the project notes) — noting this explicitly since the wave brief calls for checking both.",
    "currency_note": "The demo balance is denominated in 'FUN' credits (BALANCE FUN / BET FUN / WIN FUN). This is a demo-balance label, not a real-money currency, and must not be recorded as a `currency` field."

  "device_and_rules": {
    "summary": "Single continuous playfield (no separate 'spin' action). Idle state shows Zeus pushing a boulder labelled with the current overall multiplier (1.0x when idle) up a slope; a vertical ladder-gauge to the left runs from 1.0x at the bottom to the printed ceiling 5000x at the top, with a small stone marker that climbs the ladder as the round progresses. To the right of the boulder are four parallel lanes, each showing a Zeus portrait of increasing fury, a multiplier value, a red-to-green horizontal 'chance' gauge with a pointer, a printed 'CHANCE: N%' percentage, and a BET button.",
    "flow": [
      "1. Idle / base state (base_game.png): boulder shows 1.0x, ladder marker at the bottom, four lanes show the BASE tier values and odds: 1.1x/CHANCE 87%, 1.2x/CHANCE 80%, 1.5x/CHANCE 64%, 2.2x/CHANCE 44%. Bottom bar shows a speech-bubble prompt 'MAKE YOUR BET HERE', a BET stake stepper (FUN 1000 shown, +/- buttons), and a full-width 'CHOOSE MULTIPLIER' bar.",
      "2. Player picks a lane and presses that lane's BET button. The stake (BET amount) is deducted from balance exactly once for the whole run, not per lane pick (see 'NEXT STEPS ARE FREE' below).",
      "3. Outcome A - success (base_game_round_step1.png): the boulder now shows the achieved multiplier (e.g. 1.1x). The bottom bar switches from 'CHOOSE MULTIPLIER' to a 'CASH OUT <amount> FUN' bar (amount = stake x achieved multiplier). All four lanes re-roll to a NEXT, harder tier with higher multipliers and higher success percentages than the base tier (observed after the first successful pick: 1.2x/92%, 1.3x/85%, 1.6x/69%, 2.3x/48%), and the BET buttons under each lane become '>>>' continue arrows. A black speech-bubble banner reading 'NEXT STEPS ARE FREE' appears, confirming no further stake is charged for continuing this run.",
      "4. From here the player may either press CASH OUT (locks in the current multiplier x stake as the win and ends the run) or pick another lane to push further up the ladder for a bigger multiplier at worse odds.",
      "5. Outcome B - failure (base_game_loss.png): the boulder resets to 1.0x, Zeus is shown having stumbled/fallen, WIN reads FUN 0, the four lanes reset to the BASE tier (1.1x/87%, 1.2x/80%, 1.5x/64%, 2.2x/44%) and the bottom bar reverts to 'CHOOSE MULTIPLIER' (a brand-new run must be started with a fresh stake). The balance is NOT restored - the single stake charged in step 2 is forfeited in full regardless of how many free continuation picks were made before the loss.",
      "6. Cash-out is proven by two paired frames rather than by a label alone: win_screen_announce.png shows an overlay 'YOU WIN! 1.1X 1100' with balance still at 997 000 and WIN still 0 (money not yet credited); win_screen.png is the same run immediately after, overlay gone, balance now 998 100 and WIN 1 100 - the +1 100 delta equals stake 1 000 x achieved multiplier 1.1, proving the credit event.",
      "7. Reaching the printed ceiling 5000x auto-credits the winnings without requiring a manual cash-out ('The maximum possible multiplier is 5000x. When reached, the winnings are automatically credited.' - rules_p3/rules_p4 verbatim text). This was not observed on camera (5000x is a very-low-probability chain of successes) - see unreadable_or_uncertain."

    "stake_charged_once_per_run": {

        "The following pick in the same run FAILED (base_game_loss.png, second pick landed on the 2.3x/48% lane) and balance still reads 999 000 - no second deduction despite a second bet-equivalent action having occurred.",

      "location": "Bottom-left of the playfield, a row of small pill/text badges appears once at least one round has been resolved (not visible on the very first idle frame before any play).",
      "color_coding": "Three visually distinct states were observed: a GREEN filled rounded pill for the most recently cashed-out/settled multiplier (leftmost position on win_screen.png, e.g. green '1.1x'); plain grey text with no background pill for an older successful/cashed result; and a dark maroon/brownish-red filled rounded pill for a multiplier pick that ended in a loss (e.g. maroon '2.3x' on base_game_loss.png). Newest entries appear to sit to the left.",
      "colorblind_note": "The win/loss distinction is carried by BOTH color (green/grey vs. dark maroon) AND shape (filled pill vs. plain text vs. filled pill) - a red-green colorblind player can still distinguish a 'filled pill with rounded background' (loss) from 'plain text, no background' (older win) by shape alone, but the green-vs-maroon pair (both filled pills) relies on hue/lightness contrast; the maroon is noticeably darker/desaturated compared to the bright green, which should remain distinguishable under most color-vision deficiencies, but this was not tested against a simulator and is flagged as a soft accessibility note rather than a verified pass."
    },
    "chance_gauge_colorblind_note": "Each of the four lanes shows a horizontal red-to-yellow-to-green gradient bar with a pointer/marker at a fixed position, underneath which the exact 'CHANCE: N%' value is always printed in text. The gradient itself never has to be read for the value - the percentage text is redundant and sufficient, so this element is colorblind-accessible by design."

This is explicitly an illustrative example (a single flat 75% shown for every lane, and multiplier values that do not match any real observed tier) used purely to show the visual layout of the lane widget, not real game odds. Below the diagram, body text continues: 'After selecting a multiplier, two outcomes are possible. The player wins! All multipliers adjust based on the chosen multiplier. At this point, the player can continue their run or collect their winnings. The win equals the player's bet multiplied by the selected multiplier.' - and the start of the loss-case sentence is cut off at the bottom ('Or the player loses.
