Base Game Modifier mines_count
Mine count

The player sets how many of the 25 tiles are mines, any value from 2 to 24, before the round starts. The count drives the whole payout curve: at 24 mines a single safe tile pays 24x at once, while at 2 mines six safe tiles in a row only reach 1.68x. Measured on both extremes.

Base Game Modifier auto_game
Auto game

A toggle that lets the player mark tiles before the round instead of opening them one by one. The payout is automatic, and only if none of the marked tiles turns out to be a mine.

Accessibility

profile for all groups
Color Blind
  • Tile state is carried by shape as well as colour: an untouched tile shows a flat dot, a safe tile shows a star, a mine shows a bomb with a burst behind it. The running cash-out amount is printed as a number on the button, not signalled by colour.
Screen Reader
  • The interface is real DOM: tiles, the bet stepper, the mine-count selector and the action button are HTML controls, and the two amount pills above the board carry the current and the next payout as text.
Motor Accessibility
  • Every action is a single click; nothing needs holding or timing. Auto game removes the per-tile clicking entirely by letting tiles be marked in advance.
Low Vision
  • A dark navy board with a faint star-and-circle pattern; the 5x5 grid sits in the middle in large rounded tiles. Safe tiles turn solid orange-gold, a hit mine turns bright pink. The action button is a wide green arrow that becomes a gold CASHOUT with the amount on it.

Data provenance

what we captured and what we didn't
Both round outcomes captured - a cash-out with the board revealed and a mine hit - plus both structural extremes of the payout curve at 24 and at 2 mines, the full mine-count list, and both bet stops measured with the stepper.
No loading splash exists in this build; checked twice by the capturer and once independently, every first frame after opening is the interactive board.
The provably fair panel carries boilerplate from another title - it says the result comes from the server seed and the first three bets of the round, but this game has one bet per round and no shared round. The same line also misspells 'from' as 'form'.

What it looks like

How does Lucky Mines play? Keep it simple.

"game_kind": "Non-reel instant-win 'mines' grid-reveal game (catalogued in this project as game_kind=crash, the convention used for non-reel instant-win titles such as Limbo; there is no crash multiplier curve here, the mechanic is a Minesweeper-style grid pick).",

All shapes are simple rounded-corner squares and simple flat-shaded icons (5-point star, cartoon round bomb with a curled fuse) rendered with soft drop shadows but no outlines/strokes on the icons themselves (unlike thick-outline cartoon styles). Cell tiles use flat solid fills (dark navy for closed/idle, solid orange-gold for an opened safe cell, solid pale off-white for a revealed mine tile, solid pink/magenta for the exact mine that ended the round) with a thin lighter-blue 1px border on idle cells. The overall background is a deep dark navy blue (near-black blue) filled edge-to-edge with a subtle repeating decorative pattern of large, low-contrast outlined stars and circles (same navy family, only slightly lighter than the base, so they read as a faint texture, not distinct objects) plus a few soft dark circular gradient 'glow' blobs in the corners. There is no simulated light source, no directional shadows, no neon glow, no cinematic vignette — flat and evenly lit throughout, consistent with a casual mobile-casino instant-win game rather than a dramatic or moody presentation. Camera/viewpoint is a flat frontal 2D layout (a centered 5x5 grid), not isometric or perspective. Accent colors used purely functionally: green for the primary action button and 'on' toggle states, orange/gold for the highlighted/active potential-cashout value and for successfully opened cells, pink/magenta+orange starburst for the losing mine, white/near-white for revealed-but-not-hit mines and for all button glyphs and body text.",

The multiplier is structurally a function of TWO variables at once — the chosen MINES count (2-24) and how many cells the player has successfully opened in that round — and grows combinatorially rather than following one fixed table. Two extremes were measured directly: at MINES=24, the single available safe cell alone pays 24x the stake immediately (base_game_mines24_reveal.png); at MINES=2, six consecutive safe clicks only reached 1.68x (base_game_mines2_growth.png). The true mathematical ceiling (opening every safe cell at a low MINES value) is far above 24x combinatorially but is practically unreachable due to compounding probability, and is de-facto bounded only by the monetary Max win of 20 000 USD. Do not read '24x' as 'the game's maximum multiplier' — it is only the single-click value observed at the highest-risk MINES setting."
